There are only a few weeks left to apply for the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program, so start the process ASAP, students! What's this scholarship all about? Well, the program awards two levels of scholarships to passionate, dedicated students across the U.S. for particular majors at approved college. The first level of scholarships includes 100 offerings of up to $25,000- renewable for up to four years of college tuition (or an additional renewable year for five-year engineering programs). The second level is composed of 1,000 one-time awards of $2,000 to go towards college costs.

The Buick Achievers scholarship program only accepts online applications, which can be found here: (https://buickachievers.scholarshipamerica.org/). The deadline for submitting your application is February 29, 2012, and there are several requirements for the scholarships.

Applicant Requirements for the 2012 Buick Achievers Scholarship Program:

- You must be a U.S. citizen and have a permanent residence in the United States.
-  You must be high school senior or graduate, or a current undergraduate student.
- You must enroll in undergraduate study full-time at an accredited U.S. four-year university or college for the complete 2012-2013 academic year. (Does not include online or proprietary schols).
- You must have a specific major which focuses on select Design and Business-related programs or Engineering/Technology. Students who change to a major not supported must forfeit their scholarships.

The Buick scholarship can be used for equipment, room and board, supplies, tuition, fees, and books, (in addition to tuition) so learn more today! You probably know a few students who could use a little extra financial aid!
