GMC Trumps September Sales

Known for years based on its amazing line up of utility trucks and pickups, now SUVs and crossovers have helped GMC bring in spectacular sales figures this September, 2011.

General Motors posted a 20% gain for Sept 2011 sales over last year, with 207,145 vehicles sold in just one month! GM has found themselves on the top the list for volume when compared to the competition. Leading that breakthrough month is GMC.

"General Motors can only expect things to continue to improve, provided that the industry as a whole continues at this healthy rate," adds Torque News.1

GMC saw a huge growth of 28% in September 2011 over September 2010. GMC Yukon was a top model, seeing a growth of 67% and 44.8% for the XL and base variants. The all new GMC Terrain came in with 44.7% greater numbers in September.

GMC Sierra was the top model in terms of units sold, with 13,904 trucks. GMC Acadia also had a good month, with 5,287 vehicles rolling off dealership lots.

All these great GMC vehicles are available new or used, at Vaden GMC, located at 2811 Boundary Street in Beaufort, SC.
