GMC Acadia Cost of Ownership

Car shopping can be a frenzied experience. You have to get all the options you want, in the style you want, at a comfortable price. And what about your family...will they like it, too? If you want to trade up in a few years, will the car you just invested in still be worth anything? If you invest in a GMC, it definitely will.

ALG, known industry-wide for determining benchmarks for residual value, handed out their annual awards at the Los Angeles Auto Show for vehicles that will be the most valuable after three years of ownership. It was no surprise to us to see the 2012 GMC Acadia named best in the full-size utility segment, thanks to its laundry list of amenities at a comfortable price.

ALG says, "Acadia stands out from the competition by combining features that you would expect from a luxury brand with rugged styling, a roomy interior and a fuel-efficient V6 engine...These attributes were major factors in helping it claim the top spot in the full-size utility vehicle segment."1

Consumers Digest also honored the Acadia, as well as the 2012 GMC Terrain as "Best Buys" for the 2012 model year. The "Best Buy" award goes to fewer than three-percent of competing vehicles in any category, so we're proud to say that GMC took home two of those.

Of these accolades, Brian Sweeney, U.S. VP, GMC Sales & Service says, "These...verify what many of our customers already know - that GMC's Professional Grade vehicles continue to deliver great value."2 Which is probably why, every two Acadia and Terrain purchases this year were from buyers who decided to switch from a non-General Motors brand.

The excellence in engineering that garnered these awards at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show are just a few of the reasons we invite you to come see the entire new GMC lineup at Vaden of Beaufort - 2811 Boundary Street in Beaufort, SC.
