According to recent reports, Opel's new Astra GTC hatch which just debuted across the pond will soon be coming to the U.S. Only, it will carry a Buick badge.

Thinking, Astra, that sounds familiar? Well, you have a good memory. GM attempted to bring the Astra to America once before. During the previous effort, however, it was under a Saturn badge. Needless to say, the plan did not go according to plan. But, GM has learned from their mistakes and plans to take a far savvier approach as they bring the Astra stateside under the Buick badge.

The all new Buick LaCrosse received a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Their New Car Assessment Program for 2011 models introduces tougher tests and more rigorous requirements.
