Last summer, General Motors introduced a mobile app for owners of 2011-model year GM vehicles (i.e. the 2011 GMC Terrain) who also subscribed to their OnStar program. For those o f you not familiar with OnStar, it's an innovative technological system integrated into select autos. Among the different safety and convenience plans available through OnStar are: Emergency (i.e., Automatic Crash Response), Security (i.e., stolen vehicle assistance, and roadside assistance), and Connections (i.e., hands-free calling, and navigation diagnostics).
